The Agency for Cooperation in Community Development (ACCoD) is an indigenous Ugandan NGO (Registration No. NY/CBS/442/2024/2025), headquartered along Fort Portal Highway, opposite Kasese District Headquarters, Nyamwamba Division, Kasese Municipality. Founded in October 2021, ACCoD addresses the root causes of poverty, inequality, and environmental degradation through community-led solutions.

Our History
Agency for Cooperation in Community Development (ACCoD) is an indigenous registered non-profit organization under registration number NY/CBS/442/2024/2025. The offices are located along fort portal highway in Majengo town, Kyondo cell, scheme ward, opposite Kasese district head offices in Nyamwamba division, Kasese municipality, Kasese district, Western Uganda. The organization operates in the district of Kasese and was formed with a prime focus of enhancing peaceful coexistence and livelihoods among the communities to have their right to development. Her formation was triggered by the growing appreciation that there has been considerably limited participation and support to the rural communities in development activities towards the implementation of sustainable development goals.
