Agency for Cooperation in Community Development (ACCoD) is an indigenous registered non-profit organization under registration number NY/CBS/442/2024/2025.

We are based in Kasese District and were established with a core mission to promote peaceful coexistence and improve livelihoods within local communities, empowering them to fully realize their right to development. Our organization was founded in response to the growing recognition of the limited support and involvement of rural communities in development initiatives — especially those aligned with the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Environmental management

This initiative promotes sustainable living through environmental protection, conflict resolution, disaster management, advocacy, food security, climate action, and collaboration.

Human rights and good governance

This program fosters human rights, peacebuilding, gender equality, and social justice through advocacy, training, mediation, and community support.

Economic empowerment

This program empowers women and men to contribute to and benefit from growth by strengthening their social, economic, political, and personal capacities.

Youth Empowerment

This program builds youth capacity to participate in and benefit from growth by strengthening their social, educational, economic, political, and psychological abilities while promoting fair distribution of benefits. .
